Turning Promotional Products Into a Robust Climate Solution
In 2023- 2024, we planted 40,000 Mangrove trees in Mombasa, Kenya in 2023, each sequestering about a ton of carbon per tree. This project aims to empower the impoverished coastal community to break the poverty cycle with rich renewable natural resources. In restoring the mangrove estuary, which is rich in biodiversity, this project is protecting natural resources and fishing grounds for local people. This helps to create additional income streams, including sustainable harvests from the mangrove forests. The forest restoration will also help to stabilize coastlines. This will act as a vital line of defense to protect the land and the communities during tropical storms.
Mangrove Reforestation
Mangroves are nature’s carbon vaults, trapping more CO₂ per square foot than most forests. By restoring mangrove estuaries, we are also protecting local fishing communities from erosion.
Kelp Restoration
Kelp forests absorb CO₂, provide marine habitats, and act as a storm barrier. In 2024, we invested in in bringing balance back to vital underwater ecosystems and boosting biodiversity.
